My experience going to Mexico for the JCC´s global Teen fellows was fun, different, yet wonderful. I have learned so much about my Jewish Heritage and I have met so many new people who I have become friends with. I have enjoyed singing with my friends in Orange County and it has been so much fun performing with them. I hope to do this program next year and to keep enjoying the experience ¡Gracias!
Mi experiencia de ir a México para los JCC de becarios adolescentes fue muy divertida, diferente, pero sobre todo maravillosa. He aprendido mucho acerca de mi herencia judía y he conocido a mucha gente nueva la cual he llegado a hacer amigos. Disfruté cantando con mis amigos del JCC del Condado de Orange, y ha sido muy divertido tocar con ellos. Espero hacer este programa el próximo año y seguir disfrutando la experiencia ¡Gracias!

This trip was my first time out of the US. I would relive this trip over and over again. I made new friendships and increased relationships with past peers and friends as well as receiving the best ‘family’ ever. This trip has opened my eyes to new mediums, pure beauty and mitzvah. Este fue mi primer viaje fuera de los Estados Unidos. Me gustaría volver a vivir este viaje una y otra vez. My experience as a volunteer for Family Tree has been in one word, amazing. I made great friend in not only Mexico but also from the Israeli and American delegations. I loved it and would be extremely happy to do it again.

This was my first time staying in Mexico City and my stay here has been unbelievable. Not only have I made new friends but I got to share several unforgettable moments with them. Also my stay here was so nice because of my generous host family the Derzavich´s. I am so thankful to have been given the chance to experience Mexico City the memories why last forever.

My experience at the theater
My group and I came as guests to take part in the gala show. We were very excited to dance in front of one hundred people. Who most of them we didn´t know.
During the rehearsals, we saw some of the dances and we were blown away from. And from the amount of people who took part in it.
We were surprised to see the deep connection between the dances then the Jewish culture tradition.
To sum up, we were amazed by the theater itself and the whole show, and we enjoyed to take part in it.
Mi experiencia en el teatro
Mi grupo y yo llegamos como invitados a participar en el espectáculo de gala. Estábamos muy contentos de bailar delante de cien personas que la mayoría de ellos no sabía.
Durante los intermedios vimos algunos de los bailes, y nos quedamos impactados por la cantidad de gente que participó en el mismo.
Nos sorprendimos al ver la profunda conexión entre las danzas que mostraron la tradición de la cultura judía.
En resumen, nos quedamos impresionados por el Teatro y el espectáculo, y disfrutamos de formar parte de él.

This has been an amazing experience for me
I wouldn´t make any new friends other than the ones I had from our Orange County delegation. But I was wrong. I have gotten go close with the Israelis and some of the Mexican girls soccer players. It has been going much fun and I am going upset that it´s early over. I will miss my host family and my new Israeli family more.

No pensé hacer nuevos amigos que no fueran de mi delegación del Condado de Orange. Pero estaba equivocado. He conseguido estrechar lazos con los israelíes y algunas de las jugadoras mexicanas de Fútbol. Ha sido muy divertido estar aquí y una pena que haya terminado pronto. Voy a extrañar a mi familia anfitriona y a mi nueva familia israelí.
